Hi,

While trying to connect I get:

Communication Error
500 internal server error

I used to have this problem with Wordpress itself but fixed it using this trick: How to fix 1and1.

Now the iPhone app has the same issue...

Any request to http://sebastienlavoie.com/xmlrpc.php is resulting in 500 Internal Server error, so you'll need to get access to the web server error logs to track down exactly what the error is.

My website is also hosted by 1and1. I try to fix it but it doesn't work...

Well I don't think I have access to the web server error logs...

I got this from the acces.log:

71.214.175.17 - - [17/Nov/2009:22:27:17 -0500] "POST /xmlrpc.php HTTP/1.1" 200 645 sebastienlavoie.com "-" "wp-iphone/2.0" "-"

Useful isn't it?

I got to find a new hosting. :-(

So I also had problems with the wordpress automatic updates.

I found this trick : http://snydersoft.com/2009/04/02/wordpress-updates-with-1and1-hosting/!

This fix the automatic update problem and at the same time tit also fix the Worpress for iPhone problem!!

I am not a programmer so this is arcane for me, but it works.
