Dear All,

Here some feedback regarding the iPhone app:

My wordpress blog is set-up to work behind a http authentification (via an .htaccess file). I don't seem to get it working as the iPhone app cannot connect to the blog. It would be nice if you could add support for this.

same problem here - would be great if someone could help out.
Did you tried to set the blog free - add it to the app, and them secure it again?!

Hi all,

I tried it - deactivate the .htaccess and I could add my blog to the WP App.
After reactivating the .htaccess I got an error (of cause).

Would be great if you add this as an feature ...

I agree that this would be a handy feature. We have a few family blogs that are HTTP basic auth protected (under SSL) and it would be nice to be able to use the iPhone app with them!

I have successully added this feature in my local dev copy of the app.

If anyone could point me in the right direction to submit a patch that would be great!
